Charles Van Engen said, “Missions is the people of God crossing cultural, linguistic and geographical barriers to reach out to the unchurched people of the world.”
At Bethel, we are involved in missions at many different levels. We are seriously and purposely reaching out to the different cultures and ethnicities living among us in the great city of Murfreesboro. As Paul wrote in the New Testament, we make ourselves everything to all men — Hispanic to Hispanics, Arab to Arabs, Asian to Asians — so that we may win some for Jesus.
We are also reaching out to the nations of the world with short mission trips in North America, South America, West Africa, and India. As we train young men and women, we help them respond to callings to spend the next seasons of their lives preaching the gospel in other nations beyond our frontiers.
