Campus Director

Campus DirectorHi, my name is Delvin. I am a campus minister with Every Nation Campus Ministries and Bethel. I serve the campus of MTSU and surrounding schools by overseeing our campus outreaches and events. I labor to help students know Christ and follow Him closely. I believe the most important questions of life are to be answered during the pivotal college years, making it a key time to lay solid foundations for life and influence future leaders of our society. If we can change the campus, we can change the world!

Basic Stuff:
My wife Ginessa and I were married May 20, 2007 in Austin, TX and had our first child, Simeon, July 30th, 2008.

I first migrated to Murfreesboro in 1998 to attend MTSU & walk-on to play football. God sent men into my life who were really walking with God--not just fronting on Sundays--and I gave my life to Christ that semester. I wound up getting a scholarship and became a 3 year starter at defensive back for the Blue Raiders. Several of my teammates wound up giving their lives to Jesus and serving Him during my time at MTSU. You might see some at a church pulpit, pew, or chair near you.

Dislikes:
*Most roads in Murfreesboro are crooked and have multiple names.

*Hot Dogs come in packs of 8 while the buns come in packs of 12!

Odd Facts:
*My first love beyond Jesus & my family is basketball (even though I played college football and look like I play basketball.)

*I met my wife in an airport. I promise.
*Thanks to people like Ps. Lance, Rex Grossman & Tim Rattay, I am still in the MTSU record books for career interception return yardage. Take that devil.

Life Scripture:
"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:2,3
